IN PRACTICE

What Happens in a MAP Session

MAP works with the response activated in the present. The coach uses targeted inquiry to bring the connected emotions, thoughts, memories, images and bodily sensations into focused awareness, then addresses structured commands to the Superconscious to process and neutralise the associated emotional charge.

You remain awake and aware throughout, with complete agency over what you explore, what you share and whether you continue.

Working With the Charge, Not Against the Experience

Targeted Inquiry and Focused Awareness

The coach uses intentional, directed questions to activate the issue being explored and focus attention on the emotions, thoughts, memories, images and bodily responses connected to it. This may temporarily magnify what is already present, making the underlying pattern clearer and more precise.

Superconscious Commands

The coach uses structured verbal commands addressed to the Superconscious. This process invites the mind to identify and neutralise emotional charges associated with protective patterns, beliefs and bodily responses, allowing for deep and lasting change.

Awake and Present

MAP does not require hypnosis. You remain fully awake and present, observing and communicating changes in your internal experience as they occur, ensuring you maintain complete agency throughout.

Complete Agency

You have complete agency throughout the session. You decide what to explore and what to share, and you can pause or stop the process at any time. Nothing is imposed on you. The coach does not decide what you should think, feel, believe or become.
